Going to the Office

Michelle and I and the wee babes took a trip to New York City last month to visit my old pals at CAA and I have some really amazingly awesome pictures to prove it. The trip was great - it was so nice to see everyone (save my man Paul who was missed sorely). Actually, we didn't get to see everyone - go figure - people were working! So my thanks to my colleagues - former, sadly - for letting me and the brood interrupt their day. But we really had a nice time and the kids even got to have their very first cookie - thanks Betty Leigh!

Just in case anyone at CAA was worried - the cabinet tastes fine.

BIRTHDAY PARTY!

Sunday we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the twins first birthday party! It was fantastic - if left to us it would have been hotdogs and a muffin. Thank god for grandparents. The house was decorated inside and out and there were awesome gifts and amazing food. Thanks guys - we're lucky to have you!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIDDOS!

Well, we did it! The kids are one year old today.

It seems hard to believe that exactly a year ago I was

waddling into the hospital and then - wow - just like that - hello life!

It's been a joyous, exhausting and truly incredible

year with these two amazing little creatures.

They really are the nicest people we know.

Which is good, since the titling of this blog,

would, you know, be kind of awkward.

So anyway - We're having a party at Grandma Sherry's this weekend but we did open cards this morning...

...and toast the magnificence of the darling duo of Olivia and Sam. Go team!

In the beginning, two babies were fed a lovely meal of avocado and rice,

with a squash and zucchini puree and kiwi for dessert.

In the middle, they got VERY messy and

thought it was hilarious.

In the end...

they were contrite and cleaned up the mess themselves*.
