Compare and Contrast

Olivia on her birthday one year ago. Pre-Raphaelite curls, post- head smacking.

Sam on his birthday one year ago. Holy bald kid. What a difference a year makes.

Choo Choo Party!

So, they turned two years old and we had a little party. Best part I think, was that all the Grandparents were there. Oh and I made a cake that looked like a choo-choo train and it didn't taste like cardboard. Small favors...

Sam and Olivia seemed to know that it was a party for them and interestingly they seemed surprised to get presents as well as cake, hats, noisemakers and guests. Their first foray into excess. Yikes! However, the party comes and goes, the little trains, books and other gifts are wrapped in their tiny hands for, well, at least a couple of days.

Seems like these guys have done a good job ushering in the two's. Josh and I just really hope to survive. Lord willing and the creek don't rise. God bless our little family.

Love,
Susan
