We made it! After a 38 weeks and 1 day - Sam and Olivia are ready for their debut! We had a C-Section scheduled for 8:00 am September 21, 2009. At 8:52 am and 8:53 am, respectively, Olivia Breen De Seyn-Lodise and Samuel Gehrig De Seyn-Lodise made their way into our world (with the help of the wonderful folks at Pennsylvania Hospital). Our girl Livi came out first, with a healthy and sustained holler, weighing in at 7 lbs 5 ozs. Sam was next, coming out a little different, ass-first and yawning, weighing in at 6 lbs 7 oz. We are so proud, happy and they are, truly, the nicest people we have ever known.
